From May 9 - June 2, 2023, the Town is seeking input from the public on the Proposed 2024 Comprehensive Systemwide Facility Master Plan.
It is anticipated that the Master Plan will be presented to the Fuquay-Varina Town Board at a public meeting in June 2023.

The Town of Fuquay-Varina Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department (PRCRD) is seeking public input to help guide the creation of the 2023 Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Comprehensive Systemwide Master Plan. This plan will help prioritize major projects and initiatives the PRCRD will pursue over the next five years.
Community input is a vital component of the project; therefore, the Town is hosting four public input sessions, providing an online survey to gather citizen feedback, and utilizing the Let’s Talk FV web portal to share information.
Public input forums are currently scheduled in Fuquay-Varina for:
- Saturday, January 7, Community Center (820 S. Main Street), 1-3 pm
- Thursday, January 12, Hilltop-Needmore Clubhouse (4621 Shady Greens Drive), 6-8 pm
- Wednesday, January 18, Community Center (820 S. Main Street), 6:30-8:30 pm
- Tuesday, January 24, Community Center (820 S. Main Street), 1:30-3:30 pm
- Saturday, January 28, Pine Acres Community Center (402 McLean Street),12-2 pm
The survey will be open thru February 4, 2023, at 5 pm.
