The Town of Fuquay-Varina is currently developing the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) and the Capital Investment Plan, a long-range plan to identify major projects.During the budget process, the Town of Fuquay-Varina offers various opportunities for the community to be involved in the budget development process, from public hearings to workshops.We value your input! FY 2026 Budget Engagement

The Town of Fuquay-Varina is in the process of conducting a public transit study to determine the best solution for additional transit needs in Fuquay-Varina.

The FY 2024 Budget and Capital Investment Plan was adopted by the Fuquay-Varina Town Board on June 5, 2023, and will be effective July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024.

Project OverviewCreation of the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Generational Master Plan will take approximately twelve months and will be heavily developed through a public process. There will be three public engagement meetings and online engagement through LetsTalkFV.org. Your voice is essential in helping shape the future of downtown. We want to hear from you!What is a Downtown Generational Plan?The Fuquay-Varina Downtown Generational Master Plan is intended to be a blueprint for additional investment in Fuquay-Varina&rsquo;s downtown development specific to housing, commercial/retail development, cultural arts, landscaping, and recreation amenities. The plan will recommend changes to the built environment over the next several decades while considering current demographic profiles, economic conditions, and community goals. In addition, the plan will examine local, national, and international downtown development trends that will impact development patterns throughout downtown Fuquay-Varina.Community InputThe second public meeting was held on May 24, 2023.
